Police Investigating Shooting Death of 59-year-old Marlboro Resident
Authorities: A 38-year-old man also suffered a gunshot wound that is not life-threatening; There is no danger to the community.

Police are investigating the shooting death of a 59-year-old man who was found dead Monday in his home on Wilson Avenue in Marlboro, authorities said.
Police were called to the house just before 8 a.m. and when they arrived, they found George Lutak dead from a gunshot wound, said Charles Webster, a spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police also found a 38-year-old man who had suffered a gunshot wound that was not life-threatening, said Webster. He did not release that man’s name, but said he was related to Lutak and also lived in the home. That man was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Webster said police are not looking for any suspects, and said there was no danger to the community.
More information is expected to be released Tuesday.
