Police Up Surveillance At Marlboro, South Brunswick Synagogues
The Marlboro Jewish Center said there will be a visible police presence at their Jewish preschool all throughout this week.

MARLBORO TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police in Marlboro Twp., East Brunswick and South Brunswick all increased patrols at synagogues, churches and other houses of worship over the weekend in response to the Pittsburgh shooting at the Tree of Life synagogue.
"Citizens are encouraged to report suspicious incidents and behaviors to their local police departments," said Marlboro police Capt. Fred Reck.
The Marlboro Jewish Center thanked the local police department and said there will be a visible police presence at their Jewish preschool all throughout this week. The Marlboro Jewish Center is a conservative synagogue, as is Tree of Life in Pittsburgh.

There will also be an interfaith vigil this Tuesday night, Oct. 30 at the Temple Beth-El in Hillsborough, 67 Route 206 in Hillsborough Township at 7 p.m. The event will include prayer, song, and remarks from religious and civic leaders to honor the 11 people killed in the Pittsburgh anti-Semitic shooting.
