REAL ID Mobile Unit Coming To Marlboro

MARLBORO, NJ — A pop-up REAL ID Mobile Unit will be coming to Marlboro, Mayor Jonathan Hornik recently announced.
The unit will be in Marlboro on Tuesday, June 30, Hornik said.
Appointments are currently live and can be made here. An appointment is required to obtain a REAL ID.

"Please note that there are limited appointments available and they fill quickly," Hornik said. "Appointments are scheduled and maintained by the state MVC through the link above. The township is not able to schedule appointments."
REAL ID is a federal program that is administered by each state’s division of motor vehicles.

New Jersey’s MVC website has information about how to obtain a REAL ID and to determine if you require one now or can wait until your license expires.
For example, if you have a passport or have no plans to take a domestic flight or visit certain federal facilities, you likely do not require a READ ID at this time. You can visit the MVC website for details.
Alongside the pop-up mobile unit, other opportunities to obtain a REAL ID include:

"I want to thank Assemblywoman Flynn and the State MVC staff for their support," Hornik said. "We understand the concern regarding obtaining the REAL ID and will continue to work with the state to have the Mobile truck in Marlboro as often as possible."
Residents should keep an eye out for more township emails this summer on future dates or opportunities, township officials said.
