Resume tip: Show Continuing Education Instead of Faking a Degree

Resume tip: Show Continuing Education Instead of Faking a Degree

So you don’t have a four-year degree yet, but you’re working on it. Just list the degree and other workshops or courses you’re taking as “ongoing education.” Even if you haven’t mastered a skill, taking a class shows initiative and gives you the chops to converse intelligently on the subject come interview time. You can find free and affordable courses for different skills on your campus or at many online learning websites, like Skillshare and Coursera.
