Road Closure Planned In Marlboro: See Details
While road work takes place, police are urging residents to plan accordingly, follow detours and avoid the area if possible.
MARLBORO, NJ — Drivers should be aware of road work set to begin on Thursday night.
Starting Thursday at 7 p.m. through Friday at 5 a.m., Marlboro Police said work on Spring Valley Road will be conducted to complete work at the Texas Road intersection.

- Spring Valley Road will be closed in both directions between Tennent Road and Texas Road.
- The westbound lane of Spring Valley Road will remain closed from Texas Road to Route 9.
- The eastbound lane will remain open between Route 9 and Texas Road, with all eastbound traffic detoured left onto Texas Road toward Wooleytown Road.
- Texas Road will be closed in both directions between Amboy Road and Spring Valley Road.
- The southbound lane of Texas Road will remain closed from Spring Valley Road to Wooleytown Road.
- The northbound lane will remain open between Spring Valley Road and Wooleytown Road.
Detour Route
- Tennent Road → Amboy Road/Wooleytown Road (and vice versa)
While road work takes place, police said access will be maintained for local residents, school buses, and emergency vehicles.
