Stomp the Monster Spooktacular Almost 4 Mile Fun Run

STOMP The Monster™ to Host 1st Annual Spooktacular Almost 4 Mile Fun Run

MARLBORO, N.J. (October 9, 2016) – STOMP The Monster™, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides financial and other support to cancer patients, their families, and caregivers, will host its 2nd Annual Spooktacular Almost 4 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, October 22, 2015 at “Sea Watch” in Manasquan, N.J.

This flat course starts off on the beautiful boardwalk for a mile of ocean views, makes its way through the streets of charming Manasquan, and ends just short of 4 miles...right at the parking lot of one of New Jersey's beach bar classics, Leggett's Sand Bar. This year we have added a 2 Mile Health Walk as well. The race features free buffet lunch and after party by Leggett’s, raffles, & costume prizes, all to support STOMP The Monster’s grants and activities that enable cancer patients to focus on treatment to stomp out their cancer. Last year’s Stomp the Monster Spooktacular event drew in a crowd of over 700 participants, supporters, and volunteers looking to make a difference in the lives of others. The Spooktacular 4 Mile Fun Run also offers an opportunity for local businesses in the Jersey shore area to sponsor the event. It is also an excellent opportunity to show support for cancer patients and their families in your community. STOMP The Monster™ was founded in 2010 by Marlboro resident, Seth Grumet after he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. During treatment, Seth was moved by the needs of his fellow patients for financial, emotional, and physical support during their cancer battles and chose to do something about it. Since then, STOMP The Monster has helped more than 2,500 cancer patients and their families in the region when they needed it most. With a committed volunteer staff and dedicated Board of Directors, Seth Grumet’s vision of helping, providing and supporting struggling cancer patients and their families has become a reality today.
