Students From Colts Neck and Marlboro Win National Merit Scholarships

Local students are among the winners of National Merit Scholarships.

Students from Colts Neck and Marlboro are among the winners of National Merit Scholarships.

Students from around the state have won:

  • National Achievement Scholarships, which honors some 800 outstanding black high school seniors
  • College-Sponsored Merit Scholarships: some 2,200 students have won these scholarships, which are financed by U.S. colleges and universities.
  • Corporate-Sponsored Merit Scholarship Winners: more than 1,000 distinguished high school seniors have been been awarded these scholarships, which are financed by corporations, company foundations, and other business organizations.
  • National Merit $2500 Scholarship Winners: some 2,500 Merit Scholars were chosen from a pool of more than 15,000 finalists.
