Truck Driver Seriously Injured In Rt. 18 Accident In Marlboro
A dump truck driver was ejected from his truck and seriously injured when he got into an accident on Rt. 18 Monday in Marlboro Twp.

MARLBORO, NJ — A dump truck driver was ejected from his truck and seriously injured when he got into an accident on Rt. 18 Monday, Marlboro Township police said.
At approximately 11:05 a.m. Monday, March 19 the Marlboro Township Police received a report of an overturned dump truck in the area of Rt. 18 North and Tennent Road. When police got there, they discovered that a dump truck had overturned in the area of the exit for Tennent Road from Rt. 18 North.
The driver of the dump truck was ejected from the vehicle. He was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick by medivac helicopter with serious injuries. At this time information concerning the driver’s identity is being withheld pending notification of family members.

Morganville First Aid Squad, Robertsville Fire Department, Paramedics from MONOC, Northstar Medivac from New Jersey State Police and the New Jersey State Department of Transportation.
The incident appears accidental, and no tickets have been issued, Marlboro police said.
