Vehicle Rolls Over After Crash In Marlboro, Police Say

MARLBORO, NJ — A driver suffered minor injuries following a crash that caused their vehicle to roll over on Friday, Marlboro Police Det. Lt. Jonathan Gramcko told Patch.

At 2:57 p.m. on Friday, the Morganville Fire Department was dispatched to 280 Route 9 North for a reported motor vehicle rollover with possible entrapment.

Once crews arrived, they found that the driver had successfully self-extricated from the overturned vehicle before emergency personnel arrived.

According to Gramcko, another vehicle struck the victim's car, which caused it to roll over.

Bystanders helped the driver, who had minor injuries, to get out of the vehicle before authorities arrived, and no passengers were in the car.

As of Monday afternoon, the identity of the driver has not been released.

Firefighters from Robertsville Volunteer Fire Co. #1 28-2-75 and 28-2-86, and Morganville units 28-3-91 and 28-3-75 assisted on scene by securing both involved vehicles and disconnecting their power sources to eliminate potential electrical hazards.

"We are thankful the occupant was able to exit the vehicle safely and wish them a full and speedy recovery," the Morganville Fire Department said in an online post.

"The Morganville Fire Department is proud to work alongside our mutual aid partners to provide prompt and professional service whenever called."
