Compassionate People Needed to Assist Monmouth County Seniors
Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey Experiencing Growing Demand for Services

Toms River, NJ (February 13, 2017)-- Imagine knowing you need to see a doctor, but you can’t make an appointment because you no longer drive. Now imagine how great you will feel if you ease the worried mind of a senior and give them the ride they so desperately need. This can be you! As a volunteer for the medical transportation service offered by Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey (CVCJ), you can help meet this growing demand and make a significant difference in the lives of Monmouth County seniors. Can you spare a few hours to brighten someone’s day?
If you have a few hours available and would like to drive Monmouth County seniors to their medical appointments, please call Chris at the CVCJ Freehold office at 732-876-3900, or email monmouthinfo@caregivervolunteers.org. CVCJ is a nonprofit agency founded in 1993 to support the elderly, disabled and veterans with everyday tasks to remain independent in their own homes. All services are free of charge and delivered to Monmouth and Ocean County residents over the age of 60 who can no longer drive. In addition to medical transportation, volunteers provide grocery shopping, reassuring phone calls, visits from both people and therapy dogs, and caregiver relief.
