MARLBORO, NJ - Eleven candidates will pursue three open seats on the Marlboro Township Board of Education come November.

Here's who filed petitions to run for election by Monday's 4 p.m. deadline, according to the Monmouth County Clerk's Office:

  • Angelo Del Giudice
  • Valentina Mendez
  • Kelly Dowd
  • Kathleen Amster
  • Andrew McCormack
  • Aldo Patruno
  • Christina Russotto
  • Irene Dekhterman
  • Paul Ferland
  • Sean McCauley
  • Elizabeth Sugarman Lawrence

Amster and Ferland currently serve on the board.

Separately, two candidates have filed for a two-year unexpired term on the board. One seat is available, with candidates Debra Venedam and Jessica Piernik competing for the spot.
