1,400 Bags of Heroin Found on Man in Aberdeen
A traffic stop at Lloyd Road revealed the heroin inside a 2014 Lincoln Navigator.

A man was caught on Lloyd Road with more than 1,400 bags of heroin earlier this week, Aberdeen police announced.
Umar Yasin, 44, a Maplewood resident, was pulled over by police just after 11 a.m. on November 20. Detectives with the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force searched the 2014 Lincoln Navigator he was driving, and the search yielded more than 1,400 bags of suspected heroin.
Yasin was charged with possession of heroin, as well as within 1,000 feet of a school, and within 500 feet of a park. He was taken to Monmouth County Correctional Institution.
