2 Arrested at Aberdeen Wawa in 2 Different Incidents

The Wawa off Rt. 35 has seen two arrests inside the store recently.

Aberdeen, NJ - There have been two arrests at the Aberdeen Wawa off Rt. 35 in the past two weeks, Aberdeen police tell Patch.

A Freehold woman was arrested last Tuesday and charged with possession of heroin, drug paraphernalia, and a hypodermic syringe after she was found sitting in the back of a car that had been left running in the Wawa parking lot, police said. The drugs and needle were found on her in the back of the car, police said. Melisa Alexis, 44, was arrested for the alleged drug possession.

One week prior, on Tuesday, March 8, a 42-year-old Aberdeen man was harassing customers inside the store, police said. Officers were called and the man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Hazlet.
