2 Meetings Next Wednesday On Cliffwood Beach Flood Prevention Plans
This will be a presentation from the U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers on their proposed project to prevent future flooding:

ABERDEEN, NJ — On May 24, Aberdeen residents — especially residents of Cliffwood Beach —are invited to join Township officials as they sit down and further discuss a proposed study/project from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and the NJ Department of Environmental Protection regarding Cliffwood Beach.
There are two parts of this study, and Cliffwood Beach is in the northern part of the study. Read more about the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers study that will be presented next week.
Aberdeen Township says: "The proposed study and plan for Raritan Bay and Sandy Hook Bay Coastal Storm Management needs the public's input so we can better assist the actual needs of the residents in the area."

There are two meetings planned for May 24:
The first is from 2-4 p.m. in the Town Hall courtroom

The other is from 6-8 p.m. at the Cliffwood Beach Community Center
"This is our chance to have our voices heard about concerns the Army Corp/DEP should keep in mind when doing the study and creating a plan to better protect our beach from storms in the future."
