25 Burgers Sizzling on the Grill
25 Burgers, on the corner of Main Street and Route 34, is officially open
Matawan is now home to a new gourmet fast food chain with four other locations in Bound Brook, Linden, West Depford and Westfield.
25 Burgers will be officially opening it's doors today, July 25, at the corner of Main Street and Route 34.
The owners of the Matawan location, Christina Vallee and her husband, Brian, enjoyed eating at other 25 Burgers locations when they decided to reach out to chain owner Ron Pierson about opening their own restaurant.

According to Pierson, the company was looking for locations all over New Jersey and the one in Matawan fit well, for both business and personal reasons.
"Brian and Christina loved the location," Pierson added.

The Vallee's have spent most of their lives in Matawan and are proud that their restaurant is right here in their own town.
"We've lived here for over twenty years and we love it. We raised our kids here. I think it's a great location," Christina said.
According to Pierson, the most popular burgers are the Classic Cheeseburger, the Bullseye BBQ Burger, the El Paso Burger and the A-1 Blue Burger. There are also turkey, chicken and bison burgers. With 25 different burgers on the menu priced around $7, everyone is likely to find something they will enjoy, Pierson said. There are also fries and handmake shakes.
"We're going for a 1960s feel," Christina said. The red and white interior has vintage posters with pop culture classics like Marilyn Monroe hanging on the walls.
