Kearny Federal Savings Awards Scholarships to Local Students

Fairfield, NJ – The Kearny Federal Charitable Foundation recently awarded thirty local high schools with General Academic Scholarships. Scholarship recipients throughout nine NJ counties will benefit from financial assistance provided them on behalf of the Bank.

” According to a study conducted by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, working while in college is the number one reason students drop out,” Eric Kesselman, Vice President/Marketing Director of Kearny Federal Savings said. “Financial assistance is a necessity for many college students. As a company committed to supporting the communities where our customers and their families live and work, we’re proud to help,” he added.


 


The Kearny Federal Charitable Foundation is an arm of Kearny Federal Savings Bank. The foundation’s support is focused on community development and basic human needs.
