Homes across the country are receiving an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census. It only takes a few minutes but, the impact will be felt for years. When you receive your invitation from the U.S. Census Bureau, you may complete the simple questionnaire on line or by phone. For the select few that receive a hard copy, you may complete the questionnaire by mail. For those residents who have raised concerns regarding Aberdeen Twp. not being listed as your town when you fill the form out online, please know that each household has a GEO tracking number that gives an actual count to a municipality. The Census Bureau is not counting by zip code. Also, the self-response date has been extended to August 14, 2020.
Remember, the census only occurs once every ten years, do not miss out on your chance to make a difference and shape your future. Let's make sure everyone in Aberdeen counts!
