Aberdeen Council Candidates Virtual Forum Wed., Oct 4 at 7 pm

The VFW will sponsor a League of Women Voters' Organized Candidates' Virtual Forum for Aberdeen Borough Council Committee on Oct. 4

The Veterans of Foreign Wars of Aberdeen – VFW Post 4745, is proud to sponsor a virtual Candidates Forum for the Aberdeen Township Council race. The event will be organized by the non-partisan League of Women Voters of Monmouth County and will take place from 7 to 8:30 pm on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.

The program will be via a Zoom Webinar platform that accommodates a live audience of 500 and registration is required. Visit at bit.ly/lwvaberdeen to register in advance. Questions must be submitted in advance during the registration process or by email lwvforum2023@gmail.com and putting “Aberdeen Boro Council” in the subject line.

All candidates have been invited to participate in the forum.

The Veterans of Foreign Wars is a non-profit veteran-service organization founded at end of the 19th century whose mission is to foster camaraderie among United States veterans of overseas conflicts. With more than 1.6 million VFW and Auxiliary members located in 6,200 Posts worldwide, the VFW and its Auxiliary are dedicated to veterans’ service, legislative advocacy, and military and community service programs.

The League of Women Voters, a nonpartisan political organization, has an established record for fair and informative forums. A trained League moderator from outside the voting area will preside.
