Rt. 35 DWI, Cocaine Arrest In Aberdeen
A heroin OD occurred on Parva Place and a Kawasaki motorcycle was stolen from a Dogwood Court home. More from the Aberdeen police blotter:

ABERDEEN, NJ — A Monroe Township man was arrested last Monday, July 31 after Aberdeen police said he was driving drunk on Highway 35 and had cocaine on him.
Victor A. Ortiz-Juarez, 30, of Monroe, was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, possession of suspected cocaine and speeding following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on July 31. Sgt. Brian Alberti made the arrest.

A 19-year- old Matawan man was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Woodland Drive on July 28. A 17-year-old Old Bridge girl was charged with a curfew violation in the same incident. P.O.s Bruce Monro and Craig Hausmann were the arresting officers.
Jason Zajaczkowski, 41, of Aberdeen, was arrested on July 28 for criminal mischief following an incident on South Concourse. He was additionally charged with obstruction of justice and criminal mischief after he refused to cooperate with booking procedures and attempted to cause damage to a cell and a cell camera at police headquarters. P.O.s Mary Johnston and Craig Hausmann were the arresting officers.

A 40-year- old township man was charged with terroristic threats following an incident on Beacon Lane on July 28. Det. Louis Nanna was the arresting officer.
A 56-year-old Matawan woman was arrested for shoplifting at the Stop and Shop store on Hwy. 34 on July 30. P.O. Gus Grivas was the arresting officer.
Other Aberdeen Township police activity during that period included:
- On July 26 P.O. Mary Johnston responded to a report of disorderly conduct on Sweetbriar St.
- P.O. Raymond Campbell responded to a report of harassment on Overlook Circle on July 26.
- P.O. Heather Dillon responded to a report of harassment on Kennedy Ave. on July 27.
- On July 27 a resident of North Circle reported the fraudulent use of his debit card. P.O. Heather Dillon took the report.
- On July 28 a Sherwood Drive resident reported that sometime during the night someone entered his unlocked vehicle and removed approximately $6.00 in coins. P.O. Mohamed Mahmoud took the report.
- On July 28 a resident of Dogwood Court reported that sometime during the night someone stole his 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle from his driveway. P.O. Mohamed Mahmoud took the report.
- On July 28 P.O. Darryl Richardson responded to Gallo’s Liquors, Hwy. 34, on a report of an attempted fraud. The owner said a white male subject came into the store and asked to exchange large-denomination currency for smaller bills. The owner became suspicious when the subject changed his mind and began to fidget with the money in and out of his pockets. He then left the store. He is described as 6’00” tall, 250 lbs., about 30 years old with a full beard and wearing a white shirt, tan pants, and a Kangol-type hat.
- P.O. Gus Grivas responded to a report of harassment on Wellington Place on July 29.
- On July 29 a resident of Prospect Ave. reported that, while she was home at approximately 9:30 p.m. someone attempted to open her front door. She also reported that, on the previous night, someone entered her son’s unlocked vehicle and took an amount of change. P.O. Martin Walsh responded.
- On July 29 a Prospect Ave. resident reported that sometime during the night someone entered her unlocked vehicle and removed approximately $5.00 in coins while it was parked in a gated driveway. P.O. Martin Walsh took the report.
- P.O. Martin Walsh responded to a heroin overdose at a Parva Place home on July 29. The 24-year- old victim was revived with Narcan, but refused further medical treatment.
- P.O. Craig Hausmann responded to a report of criminal mischief and harassment on Church St. on July 30.
- Officers and detectives are investigating the burglaries of several vehicles in the Northland Park section of the Strathmore development reported on July 31. The cars were unlocked and amounts of change and some personal items were taken. Det. Louis Nanna is continuing the investigation. Anyone with information
- should call the detective bureau at 732-566- 2054. Residents are reminded to lock their cars, remove all valuables, and report any suspicious activity.
- On August 1 a resident of Lower Main St. reported the fraudulent use of his credit card. P.O. Edgar Serrano responded.
Officers responded to or initiated 271 calls for service between July 26 and August 1, 2017, including 33 suspicious persons/vehicles; 14 alarms; 15 first aid calls; five domestic violence incidents, three noise complaints, five disorderly persons, eight motor vehicle crashes, ten car burglaries, two frauds, four thefts, two criminal mischief incidents, seven welfare checks, and 52 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 56 motor
vehicle summonses.
