ABERDEEN, NJ — Check your pockets! The Aberdeen Exxon on Highway 34, at the corner of Lloyd Road, sold a $50,000 winning lottery ticket this week.
There was one New Jersey Lottery ticket sold that matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball drawn for the Wednesday, Aug. 9 drawing, the state Lotto announced. And that winning ticket was sold at the Aberdeen Exxon, 1164 Rt. 34, Aberdeen in Monmouth County. It won the third-place, $50,000 prize.
"The winner has not come forward at this time, though we look forward to meeting with them," state lottery official Dean Ialacci told Patch on Thursday.

If that ticket had been purchased with the Power Play Multiplier option, it would have been worth $200,000.
