Aberdeen Man Indicted On Child Porn Charges
In the past month of November, eight men from Monmouth County were charged with either possessing or distributing child sex abuse materials.
ABERDEEN, NJ — In the past month of November, eight men from Monmouth County were charged with either possessing or distributing child sex abuse materials, Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey announced Thursday.
Two of the eight were charged with first-degree crimes, the most serious applicable offenses under state law, and one of those men is an Aberdeen resident.

Jonathan W. Cruz, 38, of Aberdeen, arrested January 2020 and indicted on charges of first-degree endangering the welfare of a child via child sex materials distribution and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child via child sex material possession.
Indicted earlier this fall on child porn charges were men from Middletown, Hazlet, Long Branch, Neptune, Manalapan and Wall.

They were investigated by members of the Prosecutor's Office's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, working in tandem with local police departments.
