Aberdeen Officials Celebrate Dunkin Donuts Grand Opening on Rt 35
The Aberdeen EBC and township officials celebrated the grand opening of a new Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin Robbins location in Cliffwood.

Members of the Aberdeen Economic Business Council (EBC) and township officials gathered to celebrate the grand opening of a new Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin Robbins location on Route 35 South in the municipality’s Cliffwood section.
On hand for the EBC-coordinated event were: EBC members Carmine Visone, James Dolan, Maxine Rescorl and Dr. Leonard J. Somarriba, as well as Mayor Fred Tagliarini, Deputy Mayor Robert Swindle and Councilwoman Margaret Montone. They were joined at the ribbon-cutting by Dunkin’ Donuts franchisees David Shah and Hemant Shah, as well as their attorney, Salvatore Alfieri.
The freestanding store was relocated from a smaller space in the nearby A&P shopping center on Route 35. The Shah’s currently operate nine Dunkin Donuts stores in Middlesex and Monmouth counties. In addition, David Shah has served as a member of the Aberdeen Township Economic Business Council since 2014. With the move to the 2,500-square-foot former bank building, the Shah’s were able to add drive-thru service.
