Aberdeen Officials Celebrate Grand Opening of Frutta Bowls

Aberdeen Township officials gathered to celebrate the grand opening of Frutta Bowls, at the Aberdeen-Matawan Train Station.

Members of the Aberdeen Economic Business Council (EBC) and township officials gathered to celebrate the grand opening of Frutta Bowls, the second store to open at The Link, the new residential-retail transit village at the Aberdeen-Matawan NJ Transit station.

Joining franchisees Dhaval and Doreen Patel at the EBC-coordinated event were: Councilwoman Connie Kelley, and EBC members Carmine Visone, Dr. Leonard J. Somarriba and Maxine Rescorl.

Serving residents and commuters, Frutta Bowls offers a healthy alternative to traditional fast food with a menu featuring Acai Bowls, Pitaya Bowls, Kale Bowls, Hot Oatmeal Bowls, Smoothies, Toast, and Organic Coffee. Catering is also available. Frutta Bowls was founded in 2016 in New Jersey by Freehold resident Brooke Gagliano. Today, there are 47 franchised locations in 14 states.
