Aberdeen police recently investigated a burglary at a township home, made arrests on weapons charges, and used Narcan to save an overdose victim, authorities said.
Between July 15, and July 21, Aberdeen police handled 336 calls for service, including 16 suspicious persons/vehicles, 21 alarms, 24 first aid calls, 17 motor vehicle crashes, nine disorderly persons, five domestic violence incidents, two thefts, one noise complaints, four frauds, three welfare checks, one burglary, two criminal mischief incidents, and 89 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 57 motor vehicle summonses.

July 15
Officer John Young arrested a 33-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of Berkeley Township municipal court. Sgt. Matthew Lloyd arrested a 36-year-old township man on contempt warrants out of Aberdeen municipal court.

Jozef Sieredzinski, 49, Aberdeen, was arrested on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats, and unlawful possession of a weapon following an incident on Texas Road. Officer Matthew McDow the arresting officer.
Officer John Young responded to a report of harassment on Cliffwood Avenue. It was reported someone drove over a field at Samaha Farms on Lloyd Road sometime during the night. Officer John Zeller took the report.
Officer Christopher DeSarno responded to a report of a suspicious person on Edgeview Road.
July 16
Someone entered a home on Arden Lane by breaking a window sometime between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. Tools, cash, electronics, a bracelet, and other items were reported stolen. Officer Charles Trucillo and Det. Anthony Valentino investigated.
July 17
Officer Brian Alberti arrested a 54-year-old Matawan man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.
Officer Charles Trucillo arrested a 54-year-old Middletown man on a contempt warrant out of Matawan municipal court following an incident at Strathmore Gardens, South Atlantic Avenue.
Officer Gus Grivas responded to a report of a theft of a pocketbook on Lloyd Road.
Officer Brian Alberti responded to the CPC Counseling Center, Route 34, on a report of a combative patient. The patient was transported to Bayshore Community Hospital for further evaluation.
A Fordham Drive resident reported receiving a phone message from someone purporting to be from the IRS demanding payment. Officer Charles Trucillo took the report.
July 18
Officer John Zeller responded to a drug overdose at Strathmore Gardens, South Atlantic Avenue. Narcan was administered and the person was transported to Bayshore Community Hospital.
July 19
Officer John Young arrested a 30-year-old Marlboro man on a contempt warrant out of Marlboro municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on Atlantic Avenue.
Officer Gus Grivas responded to a report of harassment on Delaware Avenue.
Officer Christopher DeSarno responded to a report of a simple assault on Ferndale Place.
Officer Darryl Richardson responded to a report of disorderly persons at Simply Self-Storage on County Road.
Officer Mary Johnston responded to a report of criminal mischief and theft at a Lloyd Road residence.
July 20
Sgt. Matthew Lloyd arrested a 38-year-old Old Bridge man on a contempt warrant out of South Amboy municipal court following an incident on County Road.
A 17-year-old township resident was taken into custody on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property following an incident at Ken Gardens, Matawan Avenue. Officer Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.
Officer Darryl Richardson responded to a report of a disorderly customer at The Tire Center on Route 35.
Someone attempted to use a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase tickets at Bowtie Cinema, Route 34. Officer Bart Szulczynski took the report.
July 21
Jose Humberto Garcia, 42, Aberdeen, was arrested on charges of criminal mischief, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose following an incident on Hawthorne Street. Officer Raymond Campbell the arresting officer. He was assisted by Officer Bart Szulczynski and Sgt. David Mauro.
Officer Michael Plant responded to a report of disorderly conduct at Ken Gardens, Matawan Avenue.
A Delaware Avenue resident reported she received a suspicious letter and a check offering her an opportunity to be a secret mystery shopper. Officer Michael Plant took the report.
A West Prospect Avenue resident reported receiving harassing phone calls. Officer Bart Szulczynski took the report.
