Aberdeen police recently arrested people on DWI and drug possession charges.

Officers responded to or initiated 619 calls for service between July 22 and Aug. 4, including 27 suspicious persons/vehicles, 39 alarms, 23 first aid calls, 23 motor vehicle crashes, nine disorderly persons, six domestic violence incidents, three thefts, nine noise complaints, six frauds, seven welfare checks, two burglary, three criminal mischief incidents, and 214 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 194 motor vehicle summonses.

July 22

Stephen D. Slack, 38, Keyport, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, cocaine, following a motor vehicle stop on Lloyd Road. Detective Anthony Valentino was the arresting officer and he was assisted by Officer Mary Johnston, Officer Michael Plant, Officer Charles Trucillo, and Sgt. David Mauro.

Officer Raymond Campbell arrested a 45-year-old township woman for violation of a court order following an incident on Pengel Lane.


July 23

Detective Louis Nanna arrested a 41-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.


Detective Anthony Valentino arrested a 45-year-old township woman on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.


Norma L. Haack, 45, Aberdeen, was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35. She was also charged with violation of a court order related to an earlier incident on Pengel Lane. Sgt. David Mauro and Officer Martin Walsh were the arresting officers.


July 25

Guido DiGiallonardo, 75, Aberdeen, was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, and reckless driving following a motor vehicle crash on Amherst Court. Officer Roger Peter was the arresting officer.


Officer Frank Maisano arrested a 54-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of South Amboy municipal court following an incident at CVS pharmacy, South Atlantic Avenue.


July 26

Joey A. Nemati, 19, Holmdel, was charged with possession of Xanax and possession of a hypodermic syringe following a motor vehicle stop on Cliffwood Avenue. Justin D. Pimentel, 20, Matawan, was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court during the incident. Officer John Zeller and Officer Frank Maisano were the arresting officers.


July 27

Officer Roger Peter arrested a 21-year-old Eatontown woman on a contempt warrant out of Brick Township municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35.
 July 28 Officer Raymond Campbell arrested a 28-year-old township woman for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Atlantic Avenue.


Jacque L. Greenwood, 64, Keansburg, was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35. Officer Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.


July 30

William R. Stuart, Jr., 47, Basking Ridge, was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving following an incident at the WAWA store on Route 35. Officer Matthew McDow was the arresting officer.


Officer Raymond Campbell arrested a 38-year-old Perth Amboy woman on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on South Atlantic Avenue.


Jagdish N. Mistry, 58, Hazlet, was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving following a motor vehicle crash on Cambridge Drive. Officer Mary Johnston was the arresting officer.


July 31

Officer Raymond Campbell arrested a 36-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on Line Road.

Aug. 1

Sidney McDowell, 26, Newark, was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer and resisting arrest following an incident in the Strathmore Gardens complex on South Atlantic Avenue. Officer Frank Maisano, Officer Martin Walsh, and Sgt. David Mauro were the arresting officers. Officer Walsh sustained a head laceration as a result of the assault and was treated at Bayshore Community Hospital and released. Bail was set at $20,000, in addition to the $5,000 bail on a Newark contempt warrant. McDowell was sent to the Monmouth County jail.


Diane J. Schott, 59, Aberdeen, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving an unregistered vehicle, and reckless driving following a motor vehicle stop at the WAWA store on Route 35. Officer Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.


Aug. 4

Cameron Jackson, 33, Aberdeen, was charged with possession of marijuana and Lauren C. LoBianco, 24, Freehold, was charged with possession of hypodermic syringes following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35. Jackson was also arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court during the incident. Officer Frank Maisano was the arresting officers. Officers John Zeller and Jessica McDougall assisted.


A 44-year-old township man was arrested on for theft and theft of services related to an incident on Laurelhurst Drive sometime between June 22 and July 28. Officer John Young and Detective Anthony Valentino investigated.
