Aberdeen police said they recently investigating a liquor store burglary, robbery cases, and several theft cases.
Aberdeen police handled 638 calls for service between Aug. 12 and Aug. 25, including 18 suspicious persons/vehicles, 28 alarms, 35 first aid calls, 24 motor vehicle crashes, 12 disorderly persons, two burglaries, seven domestic violence incidents, ten thefts, nine noise complaints, seven frauds, nine welfare checks, two criminal mischief incidents, and 226 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 223 motor vehicle summonses.

Aug. 12
A 15-year-old township youth was charged with possession of marijuana following an incident on Sweetbriar Street. Officer Charles Trucillo was the arresting officer.

A male subject attempted to use a $5 bill altered to look like a $100 bill at the Bowtie Cinema, Route 34. Officer Roger Peter and Detective Louis Nanna investigated.
Aug. 13
Lyn M. Lawson, 19, Hazlet, was arrested on charges of robbery and aggravated assault related to an Aug. 12 incident on Lenox Road. Detective Anthony Valentino was the arresting officer. Officer Jessica McDougall conducted the initial investigation.
Officer Vito Turchiano arrested a 23-year-old Matawan man on contempt warrants out of Aberdeen and Hazlet municipal courts.
Aug. 14
A Stemler Drive resident reported the theft of a garbage can. Officer Darryl Richardson took the report.
Officer John Young responded to a report of harassment on Orchard Street.
Aug. 15
A 42-year-old township man was arrested on a charge of simple assault following an incident on West Prospect Avenue Officer Craig Hausmann was the arresting officer.
Officer John Young arrested a 25-year-old Old Bridge man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.
Officer Craig Hausmann arrested a 53-year-old township man on contempt warrants out of Aberdeen and Spotswood municipal courts.
Pawel Bialoglowy, 28, of Sayreville, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and assault by auto after a motor vehicle crash on Route 35. Officers Mary Johnston, Jessica McDougall, and Raymond Campbell, and Sgt. Matthew Lloyd investigated.
A Stemler Drive resident reported the theft of lug nut covers from his vehicle. Officer Darryl Richardson took the report.

Officer Craig Hausmann responded to a report of harassment on Sweetbriar Street.
The owner of Wagner’s Marina, Amboy Avenue, reported recovering a marine radio apparently taken from one of the boats there. Officer Darryl Richardson took the report.
Aug. 17
Detective Anthony Valentino arrested a 26-year-old New York woman on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and a hypodermic syringe on Sherwood Drive.
Officer Charles Trucillo arrested a 28-year-old South Amboy man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.
Two vacuum cleaners were reported taken from the Bed, Bath, and Beyond store, Route 34. Sgt. Raymond Sosa responded.
Officers responded to a burglary alarm at the BuyRite store, Route 34, and found that a front door had been broken and a quantity of cash taken. Officer John Zeller, Officer Charles Trucillo, and Detective Anthony Valentino investigated.
Aug. 18
A 17-year-old Washington Township youth was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being in a township park after hours following an incident on the Cliffwood Beach seawall. Three other individuals were issued summonses for being in the park after hours. Officer Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.

Steven Pluff, 30, was charged with robbery and simple assault following an incident on North Concourse. Officer Charles Trucillo was the arresting officer.
Officer John Zeller arrested a 21-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.
A resident of Aberdeen Road reported someone had used her credit card number to make several thousand dollars in fraudulent purchases. Officer Christopher DeSarno took the report.

Jahaciel TorresRuiz, 27, Aberdeen, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, unlicensed driver, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle, and fictitious plates following an incident on West Prospect Avenue. Officer Gus Grivas was the arresting officer. Officer Brian Alberti and Sgt. Matthew Lloyd assisted.
Joseph C. Kocur, 69, Holmdel, was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving after a motor vehicle stop on Route 35. Officer Frank Maisano was the arresting officer. Officer Martin Walsh assisted.
Special Officer Michael Rzigalinski responded to a report of harassment on Lorraine Drive.
Aug. 21
Special Officer Michael Rzigalinski arrested a 31-year-old East Orange man on contempt warrants out of Essex County Superior Court and Ocean Twp. Municipal court following an incident on West Prospect Avenue.
Officer Raymond Campbell arrested a 59-year-old township man on charges of obstruction of justice and resisting arrest following an incident on Sweetbriar Street.
It was reported that sometime during the night someone gained entry to the Butler Masonic Temple on County Road through a window and took a quantity of cash. Special Officer Michael Rzigalinski investigated.

Jose A. Valladares, 33, Plainfield, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, refusal to submit to a breath test, possession of open alcohol in a motor vehicle, and other motor vehicle charges following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35. Sgt. Matthew Lloyd was the arresting officer.
An Irongate Lane resident reported someone opened a cable account in his name in another state. Officer Darryl Richardson took the report.
An Edgeview Road resident reported someone entered his garage and took a motorcycle. It was recovered behind the residence the next day. Officers Edgar Serrano and Craig Hausmann responded.
Aug. 23
Elena Menchov, 53, Marlboro, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and refusal to submit to a breath test after a motor vehicle crash on Warren Drive. Officer Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.

Aug. 24
An 18-year-old East Brunswick woman was charged with simple assault following an incident on Center Street. Officer Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.
It was reported that someone removed a window from an unoccupied home on Street Joe Terrace. Officer John Young took the report.

Aug. 25
Mark Wasielewski, Jr., 42, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, was charged with being a fugitive from justice following a motor vehicle stop on Lower Main Street. At approximately 8:30 a.m. Officer Brian Alberti was on patrol when the automated license plate reader on his patrol vehicle alerted him that the vehicle Wasielewski was driving had an expired registration. Upon stopping the vehicle it was learned that Wasielewski was wanted as a fugitive on an aggravated assault charge in Yavapai County, Arizona. He was taken into custody and committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of $50,000 bail, with no 10 percent option, pending extradition proceedings. He was also issued summonses charging him with operating an unregistered and uninsured vehicle.
Officer Christopher DeSarno arrested a 52-year-old Somerset man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.
A Hazlet resident reported the theft of her license plate while her car was parked at the Blue Rock Cafe on Amboy Avenue. Officer Gus Grivas took the report.
