Aberdeen police recently arrested defendants on charges of simple assault, theft and disorderly conduct.
Aberdeen officers handled 630 calls for service between June 3 and June 16, including 25 suspicious persons/vehicles, 32 alarms, 30 first aid calls, 33 motor vehicle crashes, 12 disorderly persons, nine domestic violence incidents, six thefts, ten noise complaint, seven frauds, seven welfare checks, five criminal mischief incidents, and 200 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 140 motor vehicle summonses.

June 3
A 39-year-old Matawan man was arrested on charges of harassment and criminal trespass related to an incident at Tree Haven III apartments, Aberdeen Road. Officer Mary Johnston was the arresting officer.

A 36-year-old Union Beach woman was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge following an incident at the Subway store, Route 35. Officer Bart Szulczynski was the arresting officer.
Officer Craig Hausmann arrested a 53-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court following an incident at Strathmore Garden apartments, South Atlantic Avenue.
June 4
A 20-year-old township man was arrested on a simple assault charge following an incident on Faith Lane. Officer Matthew McDow was the arresting officer.
June 5
Officer John Zeller arrested a 50-year-old township man on a non-support warrant out of Monmouth County Superior Court following a motor vehicle stop on Lloyd Road.
June 6
A 40-year-old Berkeley woman was arrested on a simple assault charge following an incident at Ken Garden apartments. Officer Bart Szulczynski and Officer John Zeller were the arresting officers.
A 52-year-old township woman was arrested on a simple assault charge following an incident on Eastwick Court. Officer Charles Trucillo was the arresting officer.
June 7
Officer John Zeller arrested a 22-year-old Keansburg man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.
June 8
Officer Roger Peter arrested a 36-year-old Ocean woman on a contempt warrant out of Bloomfield municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on Route 35.
June 9
Officer Christopher DeSarno arrested a 25-year-old Old Bridge woman on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.
Officer Jessica McDougall arrested a 24-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of Tinton Falls municipal court.
June 11
Officer Matthew McDow arrested a 23-year-old township woman on a contempt warrant out of Clark municipal court following an incident at Chelsea Village apartments, Cross Road.
June 14
Officer Hank Chevalier arrested a 36-year-old Union Beach woman on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.
June 15
Detective Louis Nanna arrested a 50-year-old South Amboy woman on a charge of shoplifting at the Shop Rite store, Lloyd Road.
A 27-year-old resident of Strathmore Gardens, South Atlantic Avenue, was charged with the June 7 theft of a bicycle from the rear of the Court Jester, Route 34. Officer John Zeller and Detectives Louis Nanna and Anthony Valentino investigated.
Officer Gus Grivas arrested a 47-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court and a non-support warrant out of Monmouth County Superior Court following an incident on West Prospect Avenue
June 16
Keri M. Roberts, 30, of Van Dorn Street, Keyport, was charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving following a motor vehicle crash on West Prospect Avenue. Officer Roger Peter was the arresting officer.
