Aberdeen police recently handled 325 calls for service, including reports of suspicious people and vehicles and cases of fraud.

Aberdeen police recently handled 325 calls for service.

Between June 17 and June 23, those calls included nine suspicious persons/vehicles, 17 alarms, 25 first aid calls, nine motor vehicle crashes, seven disorderly persons, two domestic violence incidents, nine thefts, one noise complaint, four frauds, seven welfare checks, two criminal mischief incidents, and 109 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 92 motor vehicle summonses.

June 17

Officer Gus Grivas arrested a 24-year-old Union Beach woman on a contempt warrant out of Monmouth County Superior Court/ Officer Hank Chevalier arrested a 45-year-old township woman on a probation warrant out of Monmouth County Superior Court.

June 18

Joseph D. Osmond, 30, Bayview Avenue, Keansburg, was arrested. Police said he used an altered/counterfeit credit card and committed witness tampering related to an incident on June 7 on Oakshades Avenue. Detective Anthony Valentino was the arresting officer and Officer Hank Chevalier took the initial report.


 June 19

A 47-year-old Colts Neck man was arrested on a charge of interference with transportation following an incident at the Aberdeen train station, Atlantic Avenue Officer Darryl Richardson was the arresting officer.


Officer Matthew McDow arrested a 51-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of Manalapan municipal court.


June 20

Officer Raymond Campbell arrested a 37-year-old Keyport man on a contempt warrant out of Middletown municipal court following an incident on Matawan Avenue.


June 22

Officer Gus Grivas arrested a 21-year-old Keyport woman on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on Lower Main Street/ Officer Roger Peter arrested a 19-year-old Aberdeen man on a contempt warrant out of Brick municipal court.


Officer John Young arrested a 28-year-old Florida man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.


June 23

Officer Darryl Richardson arrested a 23-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.


Officer Charles Trucillo arrested a 59-year-old Matawan man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.
