Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests April 18 through April 24:

ABERDEEN, NJ — Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests April 18 through April 24:

  • On April 18 43-year-old Township woman was charged with simple assault following an incident on Central Ave. on April 17. P.O. Mary Johnston was the arresting officer.
  • P.O. Darryl Richardson arrested a 25-year-old Hackensack man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on April 18.
  • A 39-year-old Hazlet woman was charged with shoplifting following an incident at the CVS store on South Atlantic Ave. on April 18. P.O. Bruce Monro was the arresting officer.
  • A 34-year-old Township man was arrested in Midland Park on multiple contempt warrants out of Aberdeen, Old Bridge, Sayreville, Tinton Falls, Hazlet, Matawan, and Woodbridge municipal courts following an incident on County Rd. on April 19. P.O. Martin Walsh was the arresting officer.
  • A 33-year-old Sayreville man was arrested on contempt warrants out of Keansburg, Ocean, and Edison municipal courts following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on April 20. P.O. John Zeller was the arresting officer.
  • P.O. Raymond Campbell arrested a 26-year-old Brooklyn, NY man on a contempt warrant out of Holmdel municipal court following a motor vehicle crash on Lloyd Rd. on April 23.
  • P.O. Bruce Monro arrested a 29-year-old Ocean man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on April 24.

Other police activity during that period included:

  • Officers responded to five motor vehicle crashes between April 18 and April 24 at the following locations: Lloyd Rd./ Cambridge Dr., Lloyd Rd./Hwy. 34, Hwy. 34/Cambridge Dr., Intone Lane, and Atlantic Ave./Fifth St.

Officers responded to or initiated 311 calls for service between April 18 and April 24, 2018, including nine suspicious persons/vehicles; 13 alarms; 15 first aid calls; one domestic violence incident, five noise complaints, three disorderly persons, one criminal mischief incident, one burglary, two thefts, five motor vehicle crashes, one fraud, four welfare checks, three crisis intervention calls, and 92 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 100 summonses.
