Aberdeen Police Blotter, Aug. 16-Aug. 22

Police had to give Narcan for an overdose on Parva Place on Aug. 19. The victim, 24, refused further medical treatment. The entire blotter:

ABERDEEN, NJ — The Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests August 16, 2017 through August 22, 2017:

  • A 43-year-old Aberdeen Township man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on August 16 at the McDonald’s restaurant on Hwy. 35. P.O. Anthony Marone was the arresting officer.
  • On August 17 Det. Anthony Valentino arrested a 31-year-old Matawan woman for terroristic threats and criminal mischief related to an incident on August 7 on Third St.
  • A 21-year-old Township man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Jamesburg municipal court on August 17 on Sweetbriar St. P.O. Gus Grivas and Special Officer Michael Rzigalinski were the arresting officers.
  • A 32-year-old Newark man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Hillside municipal court on August 18 following an incident at Aberdeen Townsquare on Hwy. 34. P.O. Craig Hausmann was the arresting officer.
  • Jose G. Robles, Jr., 31, Newark, was charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, endangering the welfare of a child, and other motor vehicle offenses following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on August 20. Two children, ages 13 and 7, were passengers in the vehicle at the time. P.O. Ronald Osadacz, Jr. was the arresting officer. P.O. Raymond Campbell assisted.
  • A 23-year-old Township man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of South Brunswick municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on Cliffwood Ave. on August 21. P.O. Ronald Osadacz, Jr. was the arresting officer.

Other police activity during that period included:

  • P.O. Hank Chevalier responded to a report of an assault on Milton Ave. on August 16.
  • On August 16 a resident of Irongate Lane reported someone used her identity to open an online bank account. P.O. Bruce Monro took the report.
  • While on patrol on August 17 Sgt. Darrell Oliver found that several wooden pallets had been dumped at the fishermen’s lot on the beachfront sometime during the night.
  • P.O. Hank Chevalier responded to a report of an assault on Dogwood Court on August 17.
  • On August 17 a Milton Ave. resident reported someone broke a window on his vehicle with an unknown object. P.O. Anthony Marone responded.
  • P.O. Mary Johnston responded to a report of harassment at Tree Haven III apartments on Aberdeen Rd. on August 18.
  • A township man reported he was assaulted by two or three men on the evening of August 18 while he was walking his dog in the Wellington Place condominium complex on Hwy. 34. The actors rifled his pockets, but nothing was taken. Det. Anthony Valentino is investigating.
  • P.O. Matthew McDow responded to a report of harassment Woodland Drive on August 19.
  • On August 19 a Woodmere Drive resident reported someone broke a window on her vehicle with an unknown object. P.O. Ronald Osadacz, Jr. responded.
  • On August 19 P.O. Ronald Osadacz, Jr. responded to a report of an overdose on Parva Place. Narcan was administered to the 24-year-old victim, who was revived, but refused further medical treatment.
  • On August 20 a resident of Lloyd Rd. reported the theft of his black 2003 Honda S2000 from his driveway. P.O. Matthew McDow investigated.
  • P.O. Mary Johnston responded to a report of harassment at Chelsea Village on Cross Rd. on August 20.
  • P.O. Mary Johnston responded to a report of an assault on Lakeshore Dr. on August 21.
  • On August 22 an employee of a construction company reported the theft of twelve steel manhole covers from a construction site on Grand Ave. sometime over the weekend. P.O. John Young took the report.

Officers responded to or initiated 293 calls for service between August 16 and August 22, 2017, including 11 suspicious persons/vehicles; 15 alarms; 18 first aid calls; three domestic violence incidents, one robbery, two noise complaints, four disorderly persons, nine motor vehicle crashes, one fraud, two criminal mischief incidents, three welfare checks, two thefts, and 96 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 95 motor vehicle summonses.
