Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests August 29, 2018 through September 11, 2018:

ABERDEEN, NJ — Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests August 29, 2018 through September 11, 2018:

  • A 55-year-old Township woman was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, and reckless driving following a motor vehicle stop on South Atlantic Ave. on August 29. P.O. Jessica McDougall was the arresting officer.
  • P.O. Jessica McDougall arrested a 30-year-old Spotswood man on a contempt warrant out of South River municipal court on August 30.
  • P.O. Jessica McDougall arrested a 39-year-old Union Beach man on contempt warrants out of Lakewood, Monroe, and Lumberton municipal courts on August 31.
  • On September 1 P.O. Raymond Campbell arrested a 30-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.
  • A 36-year-old Township man was charged with driving while intoxicated, unclear plates, uninspected vehicle, and reckless driving following a motor vehicle stop on Matawan Ave. on September 2. P.O. Philip Santiago and Lt. Matthew Lloyd were the arresting officers.
  • A 52-year-old Marlboro man was charged with driving while intoxicated, disregard of a traffic signal, uninspected vehicle, and reckless driving following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 34 on September 2. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
  • P.O. Jessica McDougall arrested a 38-year-old Keansburg woman on a contempt warrant out of Keansburg municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on September 4.
  • On September 5 a 34-year-old Asbury Park man was arrested for simple assault and theft following an incident at the Willows at Aberdeen on Anchor Way on September 4. P.O. Ronald Osadacz investigated and P.O. Anthony Marone was the arresting officer.
  • A 29-year-old Matawan man was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, driving while suspended, operating a motor vehicle while suspended for DWI, and hindering his own apprehension, and other motor vehicle offenses following a motor vehicle stop on Lower Main St. on September 7. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
  • On September 7 a 36-year-old Freehold woman was arrested for simple assault following an incident on Locust St. P.O. Darryl Richardson was the arresting officer.
  • A 57-year-old township man was charged with violation of a court order following an incident at Strathmore Gardens, South Atlantic Ave., on September 7. P.O. Matthew McDow was the arresting officer.
  • A 43-year-old township man was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, eluding police, driving while suspended, and other motor vehicle offenses following a motor vehicle stop on Dawn Way on September 9. He was also found to be wanted on a contempt warrant out of Lawrence Township. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
  • On September 10 a 60-year-old township man was arrested for simple assault following an incident on Ridge Rd. P.O. Gus Grivas was the arresting officer.
  • On September 11 a 33-year-old township man was arrested for criminal mischief following an incident on Cliffwood Ave. P.O. Anthony Marone was the arresting officer.

Other police activity during that period included:

Officers responded to or initiated 718 calls for service between August 29 and September 11, 2018, including 22 suspicious persons/vehicles; 38 alarms; 38 first aid calls; eight domestic violence incidents, one burglary, four thefts, four criminal mischief incidents, eleven disorderly persons, three frauds, 17 motor vehicle crashes, four crisis intervention calls, and 318 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 249 summonses.
