Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests August 9, 2017 through August 15, 2017:

ABERDEEN, NJ — The Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests August 9, 2017 through August 15, 2017:
- A 58-year-old Matawan man was arrested for theft by Det. Louis Nanna on August 9.
- A 30-year-old Aberdeen Township man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Keansburg municipal court on August 9 at Chelsea Village apartments on Cross Road. P.O. Edgar Serrano was the arresting officer.
- An 18-year-old Township man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on Shore Concourse on August 9. P.O. Edgar Serrano was the arresting officer.
- Spencer V. Pitt, Jr, 56, Aberdeen, was arrested for violation of a court order following an incident at Strathmore Gardens, South Atlantic Ave., on August 11. He was also wanted on contempt warrants out of Middletown and South River municipal courts. Sgt. Matthew Lloyd and P.O. Raymond Campbell were the arresting officers.
- A 26-year-old Matawan man was arrested on contempt warrants out of Aberdeen, Matawan, and Marlboro municipal courts on August 11. P.O. Bruce Monro made the arrest.
- A 29-year-old Brick man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on August 15. P.O. John Young was the arresting officer.
Other police activity during that period included:
- P.O. John Zeller responded to a report of harassment on Prospect Ave. on August 9.
- On the evening of August 9 three subjects entered a vehicle parked on Fairfield Way and took a coupon holder. Responding officers were unable to locate the individuals. Sgt. Michael Lasko investigated.
- On August 9 P.O. Bruce Monro responded to a report of a criminal mischief to a residence on West Prospect Ave.
- On August 10 P.O. Ronald Osadacz responded to a report of a disorderly person at the Aberdeen Diner on Hwy. 34.
- A resident of Atlantic Ave. reported the theft of prescription medication on August 11. P.O. Bruce Monro took the report.
- On August 11 a Sayreville resident reported someone entered his vehicle while it was parked at Tab Ramos Sports Center, Blair Rd., on July 30 and took cash and a credit card. P.O. Ronald Osadacz took the report and Det. Louis Nanna is continuing the investigation.
- P.O. Matthew McDow responded to a report of harassment at Aberdeen Station apartments on Central Ave. on August 12.
- Det. Louis Nanna responded to a report of disorderly persons on Fordham Drive on August 13.
- P.O. John Young responded to a customer dispute at Best Price Auto Sales on Hwy. 35 on August 14.
- P.O. Edgar Serrano responded to a report of harassment at the Shop Rite store on Lloyd Rd. on August 14.
- P.O. Gus Grivas responded to a report of harassment and disorderly conduct at the 7-11 store on Hwy. 34 on August 15.
- On August 15 a Courtland Lane resident reported a male subject ran through her backyard. P.O.s Ronald Osadacz and Jessica McDougall responded.
Officers responded to or initiated 244 calls for service between August 9 and August 15, 2017, including 16 suspicious persons/vehicles; 14 alarms; 13 first aid calls; two domestic violence incidents, four noise complaints, eleven disorderly persons, four motor vehicle crashes, three frauds, one criminal mischief incident, three welfare checks, one burglary, three thefts, and 42 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 29 motor vehicle summonses. Officers issued two summonses for being in a park after closing, one for having an open fire, and one for consumption of alcoholic beverages on the beachfront.
