Aberdeen Police Blotter, Feb. 28 - March 13

Released by Aberdeen Twp. police and unedited by Patch, all the arrests for the past two weeks:

ABERDEEN, NJ — Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests February 28 through March 13, 2018:

  • On February 28 Cody O’Donnell, 24, Keansburg, was arrested for simple assault and hindering his own apprehension related to an incident on Beverly Drive on November 12, 2017. Detectives Louis Nanna and Anthony Valentino were the arresting officers.
  • On February 28 P.O. Frank Maisano arrested 35-year-old Aberdeen man for simple assault following an incident on Phillip E. Frank Way.
  • P.O. Roger Peter arrested a 56-year-old Aberdeen Township man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on March 4.
  • P.O. John Zeller arrested a 37-year-old East Brunswick man on a contempt warrant out of East Brunswick municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on March 4.
  • James E. Van, 44, Aberdeen, was charged with the burglary of a vehicle and attempted theft on March 4 at Oakridge Manor on Cliffwood Ave. He was also wanted on contempt warrants out of Aberdeen, Old Bridge, and East Orange municipal courts. P.O.s Edgar Serrano and John Zeller were the arresting officers with assistance from Sgt. Brian Alberti.
  • P.O. Matthew McDow arrested a 54-year-old Township woman on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on March 5.
  • P.O. Mohamed Mahmoud arrested a 21-year-old Woodbridge man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on March 7.
  • P.O. Bruce Monro arrested a 42-year-old Township woman on a contempt warrant out of Branchburg municipal court on March 8.
  • Suzanne M. Micholas, 40, Middletown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage following a motor vehicle crash on Lloyd Road on March 9. P.O. Jessica McDougall was the arresting officer with assistance from P.O. Bart Szulczynski.
  • Sgt. Matthew Lloyd arrested a 44-year-old Township woman on a contempt warrant out of Middletown municipal court on March 13.
  • A 25-year-old Dover man was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, hindering his own apprehension, and several motor vehicle offenses following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on March 13. A 20-year-old Piscataway woman was also charged with possession of marijuana. P.O. Ronald Osadacz was the arresting officer. P.O. Anthony Marone assisted.

Other police activity during that period included:

Officers responded to or initiated 650 calls for service between February 28 and March 13, 2018, including 27 suspicious persons/vehicles; 33 alarms; 27 first aid calls; four domestic violence incidents, seven noise complaints, eight disorderly persons, two burglaries, six thefts, 19 motor vehicle crashes, three frauds, four welfare checks, five crisis intervention calls, two criminal mischief incidents, and 146 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 132 summonses.
