The Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests July 12 through July 18:

ABERDEEN, NJ — The Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests July 12 through July 18, 2017:
- A 39-year-old Aberdeen woman was arrested on July 13 for simple assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose related to an incident on Shore Concourse on July 1. Det. Anthony Valentino was the arresting officer. P.O. Matthew McDow conducted the initial investigation. This was an incident of domestic violence.
- A 58-year-old Matawan man was arrested for issuing bad checks on June 14. Det. Louis Nanna was the arresting officer.
- A 36-year-old Matawan man was arrested on July 14 for shoplifting items from the ShopRite on Lloyd Rd. on June 18. Det. Louis Nanna was the arresting officer. P.O. Craig Hausmann conducted the initial investigation.
- On July 14 a 25-year-old Aberdeen Township man was arrested on contempt warrants out of Union Beach and Holmdel municipal courts following an incident on Cliffwood Ave. P.O. John Zeller and Special Officer Michael Rzigalinski were the arresting officers.
- A 46-year-old Aberdeen man was arrested on July 15 for simple assault following an incident at Aberdeen Station apartments on Central Ave. P.O. Anthony Marone was the arresting officer.
- On July 15 a 38-year-old Old Bridge man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court. P.O. Matthew McDow was the arresting officer.
- On July 16 a 31-year-old Aberdeen woman was arrested on a contempt warrant out of the Bedminster municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on County Rd. P.O. Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.
- A 24-year-old North Brunswick man was charged with possession of marijauna and possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Lower Main St. on July 17. P.O. Bruce Monro was the arresting officer.
- On July 18 a 58-year-old township man was arrested on contempt warrants out of Aberdeen, South Amboy, and Hazlet municipal courts. P.O. Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.
- On July 18 a 31-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested on contempt warrants out of Aberdeen and Woodbridge municipal courts. P.O. Bruce Monro was the arresting officer.
- On July 18 a 35-year-old Long Branch man was arrested on contempt warrants out of Monmouth County Superior Court and Long Branch municipal court following an incident on Arlington Ave. P.O. Mohammed Mahmoud was the arresting officer.
- A 55-year-old Aberdeen man was arrested on July 18 for harassment following an incident on Stemler Drive. P.O.s Bruce Monro and Heather Dillon were the arresting officers.
Other police activity during that period included:
Officers responded to or initiated 280 calls for service between July 12 and July 18, 2017, including 23 suspicious persons/vehicles; 17 alarms; 16 first aid calls; six domestic violence incidents, three noise complaints, five disorderly persons, six motor vehicle crashes, two thefts, four frauds, two criminal mischief incidents, and 96 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 61 motor vehicle summonses. One summons was issued for consumption of alcohol on the beachfront.
