ABERDEEN, NJ — Aberdeen Township police made the following arrests June 20, 2018 through July 6, 2018:
- A 32-year-old Aberdeen Township man was charged with obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest following an incident on Lloyd Rd. on June 20. P.O.s William Novak and Frank Maisano were the arresting officers.
- P.O. Philip Santiago arrested a 35-year-old Old Bridge man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on June 20.
- A 23-year-old Township man was charged with possession of marijuana following an incident on Randall Way on June 22. P.O.s Nicholas DaRocha and Frank Maisano were the arresting officers.
- A 24-year-old Township man was charged with simple assault following an incident on Parva Place on June 23. P.O. Henry Chevalier was the arresting officer.
- Joseph M. Fierro, 26, South Plainfield, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, refusal to submit to a breath test, failure to yield, and throwing debris from a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on June 24. P.O. Ronald Osadacz was the arresting officer.
- Deborah A. Tami, 62, Aberdeen, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and failure to maintain a lane following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 34 on June 26. P.O. Ronald Osadacz was the arresting officer.
- P.O. Nicholas DaRocha arrested a 52-year-old Elizabeth man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on June 26.
- Two Linden men, ages 20 and 21, were charged with possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on June 27. P.O.s Vincent Schifini and Frank Maisano were the arresting officers.
- P.O. Vincent Schifini arrested a 44-year-old Garwood woman on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on June 27.
- A 19-year-old Old Bridge man was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Cliffwood Ave. on June 27. P.O. Bruce Monro was the arresting officer.
- P.O. Mohamed Mahmoud arrested a 41-year-old Hazlet woman for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop on Atlantic Ave. on June 28. The 38-year-old driver from Matawan was found to be wanted on contempt warrants out of Keansburg, Keyport, and Hazlet municipal courts. P.O.s Bruce Monro and Frank Maisano assisted.
- A 43-year-old Staten Island man was charged with fraud, being an unlicensed driver, and use of a cell phone while driving after he presented a fraudulent driver’s license during a motor vehicle stop on Lloyd Rd. on June 28. P.O. Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.
- A 47-year-old Newark man was charged with possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on June 30. He was also wanted on a contempt warrant out of Irvington municipal court. P.O.s Philip Santiago and Frank Maisano were the arresting officers.
- P.O. Nicholas DaRocha arrested a 33-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of Hazlet municipal court on July 2.
Other police activity during that period included:
Officers responded to or initiated 618 calls for service between June 20 and July 2, 2018, including 15 suspicious persons/vehicles; 44 alarms; 37 first aid calls; ten domestic violence incidents, three criminal mischief incidents, seven noise complaints, eight disorderly persons, four burglaries, one frauds, four thefts, one motor vehicle theft, 15 motor vehicle crashes, four crisis intervention calls, and 204 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 188 summonses.
