Aberdeen Police Blotter, March 14 - March 20
Someone overdosed on drugs on Beverly Dr. on March 19. The person was revived and taken to Bayshore Community Hospital.

ABERDEEN, NJ — Released by Aberdeen Township Police and unedited by Patch, police made the following arrests March 14, 2018 through March 20, 2018:
- P.O. Mohamed Mahmoud arrested a 24-year-old Township man on a contempt warrant out of Newark municipal court on March 15.
- P.O. Jessica McDougall arrested a 19-year-old Neptune man on a contempt warrant out of Seaside Heights municipal court on March 16.
- Eddie A. Sabo, 31, Matawan, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and failure to maintain a lane following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on March 17. P.O. Jessica McDougall was the arresting officer with assistance from P.O. Craig Hausmann.
- A 22-year-old Woodbridge man, Armando Rivera of Fords, was charged with possession of cocaine, failure to observe a traffic signal, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on March 18. He was originally stopped for failure to observe a traffic signal. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
- On March 18 P.O. Gus Grivas arrested 61-year-old Aberdeen man for simple assault following an incident on Fayette Lane.
Other police activity during that period included:
- On March 15 a resident of Oakshades Ave. reported someone entered his home and took cash from a desk drawer. P.O. Mary Johnston took the report.
- On March 15 a female subject stole two price scanners from the Bed Bath and Beyond store on Hwy. 34. The scanners were recovered nearby shortly afterward. P.O. Bruce Monro responded.
- On March 17 a resident of Central Ave. reported someone used his personal information to apply for Social Security benefits online. P.O. Gus Grivas took the report.
- P.O. Hank Chevalier and Sgt. Raymond Sosa responded to an overdose on Beverly Dr. on March 19. The 33-year-old victim was revived and transported to Bayshore Community Hospital.
- On March 19 a Fordham Drive resident reported she received a call from an individual purporting to be an IRS agent threatening her with arrest if she did not purchase Google Play cards and give him the numbers. P.O. Anthony Marone took the report.
- Officers responded to eight motor vehicle crashes between March 14 and March 20 at the following locations: Lower Main St., Hwy. 35/County Rd., Lloyd Rd./ Church St., Hwy. 34, and Cliffwood Ave. The remainder of the crashes were on private property or shopping centers.
Officers responded to or initiated 412 calls for service between March 14 and March 20, 2018, including nine suspicious persons/vehicles; eleven alarms; 17 first aid calls; four domestic violence incidents, five noise complaints, five disorderly persons, one burglary, one theft, eight motor vehicle crashes, five frauds, five welfare checks, four crisis intervention calls, and 146 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 118 summonses.
