ABERDEEN, NJ — Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests November 14 through November 27:

On November 14 a 42-year-old township man and a 37-year-old township woman were arrested for simple assault and terroristic threats related to a November 11 incident on North Concourse. Det. Edgar Serrano was the arresting officer.

On November 19 a 42-year-old Matawan man was arrested for aggravated assault, burglary, and terroristic threats related to an October 25 domestic violence incident on Atlantic Ave. Det. Edgar Serrano was the arresting officer. P.O. Bruce Monro conducted the initial investigation.

A 27-year-old Keyport man was charged with driving while intoxicated and careless driving following an incident at the WaWa store on Hwy. 35 on November 19. Police got a call about a vehicle off the road on a curb near the Wawa. P.O. Mary Johnston was the arresting officer.

A 57-year-old township man was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and aggravated assault on a police officer following an incident at the Aberdeen Matawan train station on November 19. Police got a call about an intoxicated person harassing people at the train station. He pushed and punched an officer when they tried to take him into custody, said Aberdeen Police Chief John Powers. P.O.s Bruce Monro and Michael Monteiro were the arresting officers.

A 27-year-old township man was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle after officers responded to a reported drug overdose at a Lower Main St. on November 21. P.O. William Novak and Special Officer Brian Mason were the arresting officers.

P.O. Anthony Marone arrested a 29-year-old Dover man for simple assault on November 21 following an incident on White Oak Lane.

A 29-year-old Bronx man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Keansburg municipal court on November 26. P.O. Mary Johnston was the arresting officer.

A 35-year-old Keyport woman was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, and reckless driving following a motor vehicle stop on Lloyd Road on November 26. P.O. Jessica McDougall was the arresting officer.

P.O. Raymond Campbell arrested a 56-year-old township woman on a contempt warrant out of Red Bank municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on Cliffwood Ave. on November 27. She was also charged with driving while suspended.

Other police activity during that period included:

Officers responded to or initiated 541 calls for service between November 14 and November 27, 2018, including 23 suspicious persons/vehicles; 26 alarms; 44 first aid calls; two domestic violence incidents, two burglaries, two thefts, six criminal mischief incidents, eight noise complaints, three frauds, ten disorderly persons, two overdoses, 27 motor vehicle crashes, four crisis intervention calls, and 149 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 136 summonses for motor vehicle offenses and five for soliciting without a permit.
