Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests November 7 through November 13, 2018:

ABERDEEN, NJ — Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests November 7 through November 13, 2018:
- A 24-year-old township man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court and a 21-year-old township woman was arrested on contempt warrants out of Keansburg, Hazlet, and Sayreville municipal courts following an incident on Parva Place on November 8. P.O. Hank Chevalier and Sgt. Raymond Sosa were the arresting officers.
- Det. Louis Nanna arrested a 35-year-old Holmdel man for theft by deception on November 8.
- On November 8 P.O. William Novak arrested a 22-year-old Union Beach man for violation of a court order on October 12 on Woodmere Drive.
- P.O. Darryl Richardson arrested a 40-year-old Union Beach woman on a contempt warrant out of Newark municipal court following an incident at Ken Gardens on Matawan Ave on November 10.
- A 50-year-old Keyport woman was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, disregard of a traffic signal, reckless driving, and other motor vehicle violations following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on November 11. P.O. Vincent Schifini was the arresting officer with assistance from P.O. Bruce Monro.
- On November 12 a 42-year-old Township man was arrested for terroristic threats, stalking, and weapons offenses related to an incident on October 5 at the Matawan Aberdeen Middle School. Det. Anthony Valentino was the arresting officer.
- P.O. Mary Johnston arrested a 56-year-old Township man for simple assault on November 12 following an incident on Lloyd Road. P.O. Mohamed Mahmoud conducted the initial investigation.
- P.O. William Novak arrested a 47-year-old Township man for harassment on November 13 following an incident on Cashel Drive.
Other police activity during that period included:
- On November 7 a 7-11 corporate representative reported the theft of 90 packs of NJ Lottery scratch-off tickets from the 7-11 store on Hwy. 34. P.O. Matthew McDow took the report.
- On November 9 officers and firefighters responded to a fire at a vacant house on Cliffwood Ave. The fire is under investigation by the Monmouth County Fire Marshal and Aberdeen detectives. P.O. Vincent Schifini, Sgt. Michael Lasko, and Special Officer Brian Mason were the initial responding officers. Det. Sgt. Michael O’Dwyer and Detectives Louis Nanna and Edgar Serrano investigated.
- On November 11 a resident of Brown Place reported the theft of her gray 2017 Volkswagen Jetta from the driveway of the residence. The vehicle had been left unlocked with a key fob inside. At around the same time a Dolan Ave. resident reported someone tried to enter her vehicle. P.O. Mary Johnston took the report.
- On November 11 a Ryan St. resident reported that two vehicles were entered during the night and some loose change was taken. P.O. Mary Johnston responded. Residents are urged to lock their car doors, remove all valuables, and immediately report any suspicious activity.
Officers responded to or initiated 292 calls for service between November 7 and November 13, 2018, including ten suspicious persons/vehicles; ten alarms; 18 first aid calls; seven domestic violence incidents, one burglary, two thefts, five noise complaints, one motor vehicle theft, four disorderly persons, two missing persons, 13 motor vehicle crashes, one crisis intervention call, and 56 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 38 summonses.
