Released by police and unedited by Patch, Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests October 11 through October 17, 2017:

ABERDEEN, NJ — Released by police and unedited by Patch, Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests October 11 through October 17, 2017:

  • On October 11 a 49-year-old Matawan woman was charged with violation of a court order following an incident on Angel St. P.O. Edgar Serrano was the arresting officer.
  • On October 11 a 26-year-old township man was charged with endangering the welfare of a child following an incident on Garden Pl. Det. Anthony Valentino was the arresting officer.
  • Two Aberdeen men, ages 18 and 19, were charged with criminal mischief that took place at Providence Baptist Church on Lincoln Ave on September 2. P.O. Frank Maisano and Det. Louis Nanna were the arresting officers. P.O.s Anthony Marone and John Zeller also investigated.
  • A 47-year-old Florida woman was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on October 12. Det. Louis Nanna was the arresting officer.
  • Christopher Kostelnik, 50, Aberdeen, was arrested by P.O. Frank Maisano for possession of a stun gun following an incident on Shadynook St. on October 14. P.O. Darryl Richardson arrested a 44-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of Old Bridge municipal court during the same incident.
  • A 23-year-old township man was charged with simple assault and resisting arrest following an incident on Nathan Court on October 14. P.O. Bart Szulczynski was the arresting officer.
  • A 21-year-old Union Beach man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on October 15. P.O. Matthew McDow was the arresting officer.
  • Joseph R. Cavallo, 25, Middletown, was arrested on October 16 for robbery that occurred at the Stop and Shop store on Hwy. 34 on October 13. Det. Manny Carabel was the arresting officer. P.O. Mary Johnston also investigated.
  • A 45-year-old Old Bridge woman was arrested for shoplifting at the Stop and Shop store on Hwy. 34 on October 16. P.O. Mary Johnston was the arresting officer.
  • A 30-year-old Old Bridge woman was charged with criminal mischief following an incident on North Concourse on October 16. P.O. Bart Szulczynski was the arresting officer

Other police activity during that period included:

Officers responded to or initiated 229 calls for service between October 11 and October 17, 2017, including nine suspicious persons/vehicles; eleven alarms; 19 first aid calls; four domestic violence incidents, two noise complaints, three disorderly persons, four motor vehicle crashes, five burglaries, five thefts, four frauds, one criminal mischief incident, one welfare check, two crisis intervention calls, and 51 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 53 motor vehicle summonses.
