ABERDEEN, NJ — Released by Aberdeen police Friday, Oct. 13, here are all the arrests made in Aberdeen Township Oct. 4 through Oct. 10:
- A 21-year-old Old Bridge man was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and using a cell phone while driving following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 34 on October 4. Sgt. Matthew Lloyd was the arresting officer.
- Two 16-year-old Marlboro youths were charged with criminal mischief at Matawan Regional High School on September 21. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
- A 36-year-old Lakewood woman was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Wall municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 34 on October 9. P.O. John Zeller was the arresting officer.
- A 36-year- old Township man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Tinton Falls municipal court on October 10. P.O. Roger Peter was the arresting officer.
- A 33-year-old Township man was charged with violation of a court order following an incident on Milton Ave. on October 10. P.O. Anthony Marone was the arresting officer.
- A 49-year-old Matawan woman was charged with violation of a court order following an incident on Angel St. on October 10. P.O. Edgar Serrano was the arresting officer. P.O. Gus Grivas investigated.
Other police activity during that period included:
- P.O. Roger Peter responded to a report of shoplifting at the CVS store on South Atlantic Ave. on October 4.
- P.O. Ronald Osadacz responded to a report of harassment on Deptford Ct. on October 4.
- On October 5 a Monroe resident reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle and took prescription medication while parked at Barrington Gardens on Aberdeen Rd. P.O. Darryl Richardson took the report.
- On October 5 a Lloyd Rd. resident reported someone used his credit card information to make online purchases. P.O. Mary Johnston took the report.
- On October 6 a male subject used a counterfeit $100 bill to make a purchase at a food store in Regent Plaza on Hwy. 34. The subject was described as a light-skinned black male, thin build, approximately 6’00” tall, with short hair and a light beard. He was wearing a blue shirt with “Missouri Tigers” on it, light blue jeans, and black sneakers.
- P.O. Mary Johnston responded to a report of harassment at Heritage Square apartments, Hwy. 34, on October 7.
- P.O. Matthew McDow responded to a report of shoplifting at the Shop Rite store on Lloyd Rd. on October 8.
- P.O. Bruce Monro responded to a report of criminal mischief on Sweetbriar St. on October 8.
- On October 9 a Newark resident reported someone entered his vehicle sometime during the night and took money while it was parked at Peachtree Village on County Rd. P.O. Jessica McDougall took the report.
- P.O. Gus Grivas responded to a report of harassment and trespassing at a business in the Strathmore Lanes shopping center, Hwy. 34, on October 10.
Officers responded to or initiated 229 calls for service between October 4 and October 10, 2017, including 19 suspicious persons/vehicles; nine alarms; 19 first aid calls; three domestic violence incidents, five noise complaints, three disorderly persons, 18 motor vehicle crashes, two burglaries, two thefts, four frauds, one criminal mischief incident, one welfare check, two crisis intervention calls, and 50 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 72 motor vehicle summonses.
