Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests September 12 through September 18, 2018:

ABERDEEN, NJ — Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests September 12 through September 18, 2018:
- A 26-year-old North Brunswick man was charged with violation of a court order following an incident on LCPL Philip E. Frank Way on September 13. P.O. Anthony Marone was the arresting officer.
- A 40-year-old Middletown man was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, and driving an uninsured vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Lower Main St. on September 15. P.O. Michael Monteiro was the arresting officer.
- P.O. Mohamed Mahmoud arrested a 31-year-old township man on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on September 15.
- On September 15 a 35-year-old Middletown man was arrested for violation of a court order following an incident on South Atlantic Ave. on September 12. Special Officer Brian Mason was the arresting officer.
- A 19-year-old Parlin man was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, possession of prescription legend drugs (Xanax), possession of drug
- paraphernalia, and resisting arrest following an incident on Cliffwood Ave. on September 16. He was also wanted on contempt warrants out of Aberdeen and Keyport municipal courts. Sgt. Michael Lasko was the arresting officer with assistance from P.O.s Mohamed Mahmoud and Bruce Monro.
- P.O. Michael Monteiro charged a 69-year-old township man with obstructing a governmental function following an incident on Charles St. on September 16.
- A 33-year-old township man was charged with driving while intoxicated, unsafe lane change, and reckless driving following a motor vehicle stop on Wyndham Rd. on September 17. P.O. Ronald Osadacz was the arresting officer.
- A 24-year-old Atlantic Highlands woman was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, speeding, and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on September 17. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
- A 36-year-old Neptune woman was charged with violation of a court order following an incident on Locust St., on September 17. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer and P.O. Mary Johnston investigated.
- A 61-year-old Princeton man was charged with driving while intoxicated, having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, reckless driving, and other motor vehicle offenses following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on September 18. P.O. Ronald Osadacz was the arresting officer.
- On September 18 a 48-year-old township man was arrested for simple assault following an incident at Strathmore Gardens on South Atlantic Ave. on September 14. P.O. Darryl Richardson investigated and P.O. Gus Grivas was the arresting officer.
Other police activity during that period included:
- On September 12 a resident of Northland Lane reported he had received a call from a person purporting to be a Social Security Administration agent claiming that someone had used his identity in the commission of a crime. The “agent” indicated he was conducting an investigation and requested the victim’s social security number, banking information, and other identifiers. Special Officer Brian Mason took the report.
- P.O. Ronald Osadacz reported to a report of shoplifting at the CVS store on South Atlantic Ave. on September 13. The suspects are described as two white males who left in a dark-colored SUV. Det. Louis Nanna is investigating.
- On September 14 a resident of West Prospect Ave. reported the theft of a pocketbook from an unlocked vehicle. The theft took place sometime between September 7 and 8 and the car had been parked in the driveway. P.O. Mary Johnston responded.
- On September 16 a resident of Courtland Lane reported that someone attempted to gain entry by cutting a screen on a rear window sometime during the day. P.O. Vincent Schifini took the report.
- On September 17 an Aberdeen Road resident reported money missing from a bedroom in the home. P.O. Mary Johnston took the report.
Officers responded to or initiated 283 calls for service between September 12 and September 18, 2018, including eleven suspicious persons/vehicles; 22 alarms; 22 first aid calls; five domestic violence incidents, four burglaries, three thefts, four criminal mischief incidents, 13 disorderly persons, two frauds, ten motor vehicle crashes, one crisis intervention call, and 63 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 68 summonses.
