On September 20 a 21-year-old Aberdeen Township man was arrested for simple assault, aggravated assault, and terroristic threats following an incident on Matawan Ave. P.O. Gus Grivas was the arresting officer.
A 33-year-old Old Bridge woman was charged with harassment and false public alarm following an incident at the Wawa store on Hwy. 35 on September 22. The incident involved a former acquaintance and she falsely claimed he was armed. Responding officers determined it was false.

On September 24 a 24-year-old Hamilton man and a 23-year-old Aberdeen Township woman were charged with possession of marijuana after they were found in a vehicle on Beach Dr. The man was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, being in a park after hours, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle, and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. P.O.s Vincent Schifini and Michael Monteiro were the arresting officers.
P.O. Michael Monteiro arrested a 65-year-old South Amboy man on contempt warrants out of Aberdeen and Keansburg municipal courts on September 24.

Other police activity during that period included:
Officers responded to or initiated 245 calls for service between September 19 and September 25, 2018, including twelve suspicious persons/vehicles; 23 alarms; 18 first aid calls; ten domestic violence incidents, one burglary, one theft, four disorderly persons, two frauds, ten motor vehicle crashes, two crisis intervention calls, and 53 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 66 summonses.
