Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests September 20, 2017 through October 3, 2017:

ABERDEEN, NJ — The Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests September 20, 2017 through October 3, 2017:

  • A 59-year-old township man was charged with possession of marijuana following an incident at the A&P Plaza on Hwy. 35 on September 20. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
  • Two 16-year-old Marlboro youths were charged with criminal mischief at Matawan Regional High School on September 21. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer. The two youths damaged a freshly-poured concrete sidewalk, police said.
  • Richard K. Stewart, 28, Aberdeen, was charged with aggravated assault, weapons offenses, resisting arrest, and obstruction of a governmental function following an incident at Strathmore Gardens on South Atlantic Ave. on September 23. P.O.s Martin Walsh and Anthony Marone were the arresting officers.
  • A 19-year-old township man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on September 27. P.O. Bruce Monro was the arresting officer.
  • A 36-year-old township man was charged with criminal mischief following an incident on Deerfield Lane on September 28. P.O. Craig Hausmann was the arresting officer. It was a domestic violence incident involving the smashing of a television.
  • A 44-year-old township man was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia following an incident at Wellington Place on September 29. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
  • A 28-year-old township man was arrested for possession of marijuana, heroin, and drug paraphernalia on September 29. P.O. Darryl Richardson and Special Officer Michael Rzigalinski were the arresting officers
  • A 40-year-old Matawan man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on September 29. P.O. Ronald Osadacz was the arresting officer.
  • A 48-year-old Willingboro man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on September 29. P.O. Ronald Osadacz was the arresting officer.
  • A 46-year-old township man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on September 29. P.O. Darryl Richardson was the arresting officer.
  • A 27-year-old township man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court on October 2. P.O. Jessica McDougall was the arresting officer.
  • A 32-year-old township man was charged with harassment following an incident on Milton Ave. on October 2. P.O. Martin Walsh was the arresting officer. P.O. Gus Grivas and Det. Louis Nanna investigated.
  • On October 3 Jason E. Siniawa, 30, of Sayreville, was charged with the July 31 burglaries of eight vehicles in the Northland Park section of the Strathmore development. Det. Louis Nanna was the arresting officer.

Other police activity during that period included:

Officers responded to or initiated 595 calls for service between September 20 and October 3, 2017, including 32 suspicious persons/vehicles; 18 alarms; 33 first aid calls; eleven domestic violence incidents, four noise complaints, 13 disorderly persons, 21 motor vehicle crashes, three thefts, four frauds, four criminal mischief incidents, four welfare checks, six crisis intervention calls, and 106 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 96 motor vehicle summonses.
