The Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend:
Vincent M. Martinez, 20, of Aberdeen, and a 17-year-old female were charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on South Atlantic Ave. on November 25. Mr. Martinez was also issued summonses for disregard of a traffic signal, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, and driving without taillights. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
Lemuel D. Taylor, 41, of Rhode Island, was charged with aggravated assault following an incident on Milton Ave. on November 25. Mr. Taylor was committed to the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in default of $10,000 bail with no 10% option. P.O. Edgar Serrano was the arresting officer.

P.O. Raymond Campbell arrested Stephen J. Langan, 54, of Monmouth Beach on a non-support warrant issued out of Monmouth County Superior Court following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on November 25. The officer had been operating an automated license plate reader that alerted him that the registration on Mr. Langan’s vehicle had expired. Further investigation revealed the warrant.
Sadie L. Novak, 26, Atlantic Ave., Aberdeen, was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and refusal to submit to a breath test following a motor vehicle crash on Hwy. 35 on November 26 at 12:50 AM . There were no reported injuries. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.

Christopher D. Hinds, 26, Old Bridge, and Ashley C. Hodgetts, 30, Edison were charged with possession of hypodermic syringes following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on November 27. Mr. Hinds was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and making a prohibited turn on a red signal.
On November 27 a 23-year-old Old Bridge man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court. P.O. Edgar Serrano was the arresting officer.
On November 28 an 18-year-old Middletown man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court. P.O. John Young was the arresting officer.
On November 28 a 48-year-old Hazlet man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court. P.O. Mary Johnston was the arresting officer.
Jason Zajaczkowski, 39, Aberdeen, was charged with criminal mischief on November 28 after he caused damage to a surveillance camera in one of the police department holding cells and causing the cell to be flooded. Mr. Zajaczkowski had been arrested for disorderly conduct after an incident at Tree Haven III apartments, Aberdeen Rd. P.O. Raymond Campbell made the arrest.
