Aberdeen Police Charge Driver With DWI After Crash

A Middlesex County man was intoxicated when his truck hit two vehicles stopped at a traffic light in Aberdeen, police said.

A Middlesex County man was intoxicated when his truck hit two vehicles stopped at a traffic light in Aberdeen, police said.

Aberdeen police charged Pawel Bialoglowy, 28, of East Kupsch Street, Sayreville, with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and assault by auto.

Around 10:35 p.m. Saturday, Bialoglowy was driving his 2005 Toyota Tacoma north on Route 35.

Near the intersection of County Road, his pick-up hit a 2006 Volkswagen that was stopped for a red light. The Volkswagen was then pushed into the back of a 2004 Ford Explorer that was also stopped.

The 38-year-old driver of the Volkswagen and the 29-year-old driver of the Explorer were taken to Jersey Shore University Medical Center by Bayshore EMS for head, neck, and back injuries. Two juvenile passengers in the Volkswagen were treated for similar injuries at Bayshore Community Hospital and released.

Bialoglowy was not injured. He was released pending a municipal court appearance.

Officer Jessica McDougall was the arresting officer, with assistance from Officer Mary Johnston and Sgt. Michael Lasko. Officer Raymond Campbell and Sgt. Matthew Lloyd of the Traffic Safety unit are continuing the investigation.
