Aberdeen Township will host its annual Independence Day Extravaganza at Veterans Memorial Park (Ocean Blvd &amp; Lakeshore Dr) July 1. Rain date is July 10. Festivities run from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM with the fireworks spectacular lighting up the bay at approximately 9:15 PM. 
<ul><li>Activities: Family fun zone, food trucks, inflatables, face painting, character meet-and-greets, and a DJ.</li><li>The splash pad will remain open until 8:00 PM.</li><li>Free bus transportation will be provided to and from the park</li></ul>
