Aberdeen to Host Free Rabies Clinic
Clinic will be Nov. 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Aberdeen Township will host a free rabies clinic on Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Aberdeen Township public works garage on Lenox Road off Cliffwood Avenue. The clinic is open to everyone.
Rabies is a deadly disease that is transmitted to people through the rabid animal's saliva, often after a bite, according to the American Medical Veterinary Association. Rabies vaccinations for dogs help prevent this disease. Families are often exposed after an unvaccinated pet dog is bitten by a rabid wild animal.
The program will be conducted by the Aberdeen Township Health Department. All animals must be on a leash or in a carrier. For more information please call Aberdeen Township at (732) 583-4200, ext. 129 or 173.
