Aberdeen Township to Host Golf Benefit to Support H.A.M. Recreational Program
Aberdeen Township, in cooperation with Hazlet, Matawan and Holmdel, will host its Second Annual Golf Benefit Outing in support of the H.A.M.
Aberdeen Township, in cooperation with Hazlet, Matawan and Holmdel, will host its Second Annual Golf Benefit Outing in support of the H.A.M. (Hazlet, Holmdel, Aberdeen, Matawan) Therapeutic Recreation Program on Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Pebble Creek Golf Club in Colts Neck.
Founded in 1980, the H.A.M. Therapeutic Recreation Program provides a variety of educational and social activities for developmentally disabled residents of the four towns. Programs include bowling, exercise class, dance classes, arts & crafts, movies, cooking classes, and a six week traveling summer day camp.
The golf outing begins with breakfast and registration at 7:00 a.m., followed by an 8:00 a.m. tee time. The cost to participate, $125 per golfer, includes 18 holes of golf, a golf cart, breakfast and lunch. Registration is limited to 60 golfers maximum. Those who wish to attend for lunch only can do so for $40

Businesses wishing to participate as sponsors can do so by sponsoring a hole for $125 per hole. Sponsors will have a sign posted at their hole on the course during the outing. Donations are also welcome.
