Aberdeen Township Police Blotter, Dec. 21-Jan. 3
The Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests December 21, 2016 through January 3, 2017:

ABERDEEN, NJ - The Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests December 21, 2016 through January 3, 2017:
- On December 21 a 53-year-old Matawan man was arrested for shoplifting at the Shop Rite store on Lloyd Rd. on November 12.
- On December 21 a 37-year-old Keansburg man was arrested for simple assault related to an incident on Atlantic Ave. on December 16.
- A 19-year-old Colts Neck woman was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and motor vehicle offenses following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 34 on December 21.
- On December 22 a 41-year-old township man was arrested for criminal mischief following an incident on Ferland Lane. A home phone was damaged during a domestic violence incident.
- On December 23 a 30-year-old township woman was arrested for simple assault related to an incident on Myrtle St. on December 19.
- On December 23 a 65-year-old township woman was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Little Falls municipal court.
- Tenneyson D. Fairclough, 37, Old Bridge, was charged with two counts each of attempted murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and certain persons not to possess weapons related to a shooting at the Butler Lodge on County Rd. on December 22. - Eva M. Kinney, 33, Aberdeen, was charged with simple assault, obstruction of justice, and resisting arrest following an incident at police headquarters on December 25.
- On December 26 a 30-year-old Union Beach man was arrested on contempt warrants out of Aberdeen and Union Beach municipal courts following a motor vehicle stop on Cliffwood Ave.
- On December 27 a 27-year-old Marlboro man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court.
- On December 28 a 29-year-old township woman was arrested for simple assault following an incident on West Aspen Way.
- Matthew R. Royster, 19, Keyport, was arrested on December 30 for receiving stolen property that had been taken from a home on Cornell Way in November. It was a stolen game system.
- On December 31 a 49-year-old Red Bank man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Neptune municipal court following an incident at the WAWA store on Hwy. 35. Store management called complaining about the individual panhandling outside the store.
- Andrew R. Pras, 46, Aberdeen, was arrested for aggravated assault and weapons offenses following an incident on West Aspen Way on January 3. The victim was struck with an empty wine bottle.
Other police activity during that period included:
Officers responded to or initiated 497 calls for service between December 21, 2016 and January 3, 2017, including 41 suspicious persons/vehicles; two burglaries, 27 alarms; 38 first aid calls; 17 motor vehicle crashes, 13 domestic violence incidents, one burglary, two criminal mischief incidents, two thefts, five disorderly persons, eleven noise complaints, and 139 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 119 motor vehicle summonses.
