Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests May 24 through June 6:

ABERDEEN, NJ — Aberdeen Township Police made the following arrests May 24 through June 6:
- A 30-year-old township man was charged with simple assault following an incident on Andover Lane on May 24. P.O. Craig Hausmann was the arresting officer.
- A 24-year-old township woman was charged with simple assault following an incident on Cottage Place on May 24. P.O. Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.
- A 24-year-old township woman was arrested on May 25 for violation of a court order related to an incident on Cottage Place on May 24. P.O. Raymond Campbell was the arresting officer.
- On May 25 a 26-year-old Keyport woman was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court. P.O. Bruce Monro was the arresting officer.
- A 32-year-old Middletown woman was arrested on May 27 for violation of a court order related to an incident on Cottage Place on May 24. P.O. John Zeller was the arresting officer.
- A 48-year-old Parlin man was charged with driving while intoxicated, speeding, reckless driving, and refusal to submit to a breath test following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35 on May 27. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer. (The charges were later downgraded in court.)
- On May 27 a 22-year-old Aberdeen man was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute following a motor vehicle stop on Keyport Ave. P.O. Roger Peter was the arresting officer.
- On May 27 a 35-year-old Keyport man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Sayreville municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35. P.O. Frank Maisano was the arresting officer.
- On May 27 a 31-year-old Atlantic Highlands man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Keansburg municipal court following a motor vehicle stop on Hwy. 35. P.O. Martin Walsh was the arresting officer.
- On May 29 a 22-year-old township man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Keyport municipal court. P.O. Jessica McDougall was the arresting officer.
- On May 29 a 45-year-old Sayreville man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court. Special Officer Michael Rzigalinski was the arresting officer.
- Jamell Braithwaite, 35, Asbury Park, was charged with simple assault and obstruction of justice following an incident at Strathmore Gardens on South Atlantic Ave. on May 30. P.O.s Raymond Campbell and Craig Hausmann were the arresting officers.
- Scott M. Kruse, 34, Middletown, was arrested for violation of a court order following an incident on Dumbarton Hill Court on May 30. P.O. Bruce Monro was the arresting officer.
- A 59-year-old township woman was charged with criminal mischief following an incident at Tree Haven III apartments, Aberdeen Rd. on May 30. P.O. Matthew McDow was the arresting officer.
- On June 4 a 39-year-old township man was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Eatontown municipal court. P.O. John Zeller was the arresting officer.
- On June 5 a 27-year-old township woman was arrested for shoplifting on several occasions at the Stop and Shop store on Hwy. 34. Det. Anthony Valentino was the arresting officer.
- On June 5 a 21-year-old Aberdeen man was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of prescription drugs following an incident on Lloyd Rd. He was also charged with reckless driving and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle. P.O. Roger Peter was the arresting officer.
- On June 6 a 21-year-old Old Bridge woman was arrested on a contempt warrant out of Aberdeen municipal court. P.O. Martin Walsh was the arresting officer.
Other police activity during that period included:
Officers responded to or initiated 639 calls for service between May 24 and June 6, 2017, including 35 suspicious persons/vehicles; 47 alarms; 22 first aid calls; ten domestic violence incidents, one burglary, 13 noise complaints, 35 motor vehicle crashes, nine thefts, one fraud, and 216 motor vehicle stops. Officers issued 170 motor vehicle summonses.
